How to Submit a Proposal

Welcome to our governance process! This guide explains how to submit proposals that shape our DAO.

Before You Submit

  1. Check existing discussions - Search to see if your idea has been discussed
  2. Gather feedback - Start a discussion in General first to refine your idea
  3. Reach Trust Level 2 - Proposal creation requires TL2 (Member status)

Proposal Requirements

Every proposal must include:

  • Clear title - Descriptive and concise
  • Summary - 2-3 sentences explaining the proposal
  • Motivation - Why this change is needed
  • Specification - Detailed description of changes
  • Implementation - How it will be executed
  • Budget (if applicable) - Costs and treasury impact

The Process

1. Draft       → Create proposal using the template (tag: draft)
2. Discussion  → Community feedback period (tag: discussion)
3. Voting      → Formal vote (tag: voting)
4. Outcome     → Passed/Rejected (tag: passed or rejected)
5. Execution   → Implementation if passed (tag: implemented)

Constitutional 50% 75% 14 days

Tags

When creating a proposal, use these tags:

  • Status: draft, discussion, voting, passed, rejected, implemented, withdrawn
  • Type: minor-proposal, standard-proposal, major-proposal, constitutional
  • Category: treasury, technical, community

  • Address potential concerns proactively
