How to Submit a Proposal
Welcome to our governance process! This guide explains how to submit proposals that shape our DAO.
Before You Submit
- Check existing discussions - Search to see if your idea has been discussed
- Gather feedback - Start a discussion in General first to refine your idea
- Reach Trust Level 2 - Proposal creation requires TL2 (Member status)
Proposal Requirements
Every proposal must include:
- Clear title - Descriptive and concise
- Summary - 2-3 sentences explaining the proposal
- Motivation - Why this change is needed
- Specification - Detailed description of changes
- Implementation - How it will be executed
- Budget (if applicable) - Costs and treasury impact
The Process
1. Draft → Create proposal using the template (tag: draft)
2. Discussion → Community feedback period (tag: discussion)
3. Voting → Formal vote (tag: voting)
4. Outcome → Passed/Rejected (tag: passed or rejected)
5. Execution → Implementation if passed (tag: implemented)
